“The room was well appointed. The bed was surprisngly comfortable and we had a good night's rest. We were sorry not to be there long enough to cook in the well stocked kitchen (hob, microwave, kettle, dishwasher and fridge). It would be an ideal base for sight seeing in London.”

“I was apprehensive after reading such mixed reviews on Barbican Apartments but I am very happy to report that the serviced apartment was clean, staff were friendly, facilities were good and it wasn't cold. It is a no frills serviced apartments but it offers reasonably priced accomodation in a wonderful location (safe and quiet). The rooms are small, but you expect that when you have a sofa bed, when extended the bed is large and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need for a short stay, OK you may have some difficulty if you want to make shepards pie for dinner but for basic catering requirements it is more than sufficient. As for location, it is excellent, Barbican Station is right beside the apartments, St Paul's is a short walk, on the streets behind the servicd apartments you will find Smithfield Market, Farringdon Station (a short walk), lots of pubs and wonderful italian restaurant "IL Boteglio's", where the food is excellent, athmoshere great and very reasonably priced.”
